They offer individualized technical assistance and capacity building to healthcare providers in Maryland, and services include implementation support, workflow development, practice protocols, and customized trainings.<br /><br />Healthcare providers who practice in Maryland, including physicians, advanced practice registered nurses, physician assistants, pharmacists, dentists, and members of healthcare teams, can access MACS' consultation, technical assistance, TeleECHO clinics, education, and MACS for MOMs program.<br /><br />Education and training opportunities related to substance use disorders and chronic pain management are also provided by MACS for continuing education credit. Training topics may include DATA 2000 waiver training for prescribing buprenorphine, best practices for patients with substance use disorders, and safe and effective pain management for patients with substance use disorders.
